Make sure you have your say on the Little Missenden Parish Neighbourhood Plan! This plan has been developed for our whole parish by a team of residents of Holmer Green, Little Missenden, Little Kingshill and Hyde Heath and covers all 4 of the villages in our parish. This is a very comprehensive body of work that will help us shape the future of our parish.
Buckinghamshire Council is inviting local residents and organisations to share their views on the Little Missenden Parish Neighbourhood Plan. This is the final opportunity to comment before the plan goes to independent examination. After that is complete it will come back to us and be subject to a referendum vote by parish residents next year.

Your feedback matters—help shape the future of the whole of Little Missenden Parish!
We’re very pleased to announce that the Little Missenden Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan is now ready for us all to view and comment on. You’re probably well aware that our Village Society covers a large part of the parish.
This is a draft version of the final Plan and is available for the next 6 weeks for us all to read and feedback any comments or observations we may have. Full details of the 3 options for how you can view the Plan are on the Poster below.
We have actively supported the development of the Plan from the start with members of our Society fully involved on the committee of volunteers and we hope you will see that it gives a lot of detail about residents wishes and needs for the future of our area and what is important to us.
Now is the time for us all to take the opportunity to look at the Plan and offer any thoughts or comments before it is finalised and we really urge you to take the opportunity to do this as it is our way of stating how we want the area to look in the future.
We will all have the opportunity to vote a simple Yes or No to the plan later in the year but NOW is the time to offer our thoughts on this draft.
We all really need to have a Plan in place as soon as possible so that our views are represented whenever there are developments or changes proposed in our Parish. PLEASE take this opportunity to have your voice represented.
Statement of Support for the Little Missenden Neighbourhood Plan

The Holmer Green Village Society fully supports the Little Missenden Neighbourhood Plan and welcomes its vision for sustainable, community-led development across the parish.
We believe the Plan plays a vital role in trying to preserve the rural identity of our villages and the Green Belt land that separates and defines our communities. By reinforcing the protection of open countryside and maintaining the distinct character of the Little Missenden Parish, the Plan also helps safeguard Holmer Green from overdevelopment and urban sprawl.
We also commend the Plan’s emphasis on development that reflects local needs and respects infrastructure limits, ensuring that future growth does not come at the expense of vital services or the quality of life for existing residents.
Finally, we view this Neighbourhood Plan as a positive step toward stronger collaboration between neighbouring communities. A unified approach to planning strengthens our collective ability to influence decisions at the district and county levels, protecting the long-term interests of Holmer Green and the wider parish.
We encourage residents and stakeholders to support the Plan and help shape a balanced future for our area. We all need to support this plan and vote yes in the referendum
